Yeah. The Loves had a "Messy Party" for Thomas' second birthday since his favorite things are friends and messes. They had tubs and tubs of pasta, chocolate pudding, cornflakes, marshmellows, whipped cream, etc., on a huge tarp. The kids just went at it!
Of course, my kids are a little scarred by their OCD mom so were pretty horrified by the whole situation at first. Paul eventually entered the fray with spirit, though Lucy and Jane never could understand that they were allowed to get dirty and it was meant to be fun. Poor children.
I was wondering what all of that stuff was.
My kids are with Lucy and Jane. Clare said that's gross, and Gregory said - why would you do that? We tried to explain it to them, but they didn't get it. I'm not even that OCD, I just don't like mud or dirty children.
